As bussiness solutions consultant as well as delivery director and advisor, I participated in several ERP implementations, mainly in manufacturing and food processing.
Selection and support during the implementation of an ERP in a mine
Diagnosis to define the customer needs for the envisaged digital solution. Preparation of the specifications for the digital solution selection phase. Subsequent support in implementing the chosen solution.
Post-implantation diagnosis
In order to validate whether the ERP in place is adequate for the manufacturer's needs, a post-implementation diagnosis is carried out. This provides a good understanding of whether the solution has been deployed according to the needs of the business, whether employees have been well trained and whether they have mastered the solution. The diagnosis also allows the identification of programming bugs and possible improvements, as well as validation with the integrator to make a 360 view.

As Director of Engineering and Operations, I oversaw the delivery of several robotics and automation projects for the manufacturing industry and for automated warehouses.
Optimization of production scheduling using advanced analytics
Optimization of production capacity while taking into account production constraints such as start-up time, number of available resources, machine downtime and required dates.
Optimization of a recipe of a production batch and search for root causes
A mining company wanted to have consistency in its process recipe. To do this, an advanced analytical tool was added on top of the existing historian. It was then possible to define the best recipes and create an area of operation in order to repeat them successfully while monitoring them and being alerted if the recipe is outside of the given area of operation. Additionally, the same tool is used by reliability, environment, geology and quality teams. It allows them to have a real-time view and capable for searching for correlations in order to find the root cause of the problem.
Optimizing emissions control through advanced analytics
A factory had to control its atmospheric emissions at all times and be proactive in order to keep the level of emissions as low as possible. Adding an advanced analytics tool on top of the historian data allowed the plant employees to have a real-time view, with alerting and prediction, of the emissions level.

I began my career in pulp and paper with several projects designing, manufacturing and installing paper machine hoods and air systems. I also did several projects in the grain industry.
